Thursday 27th November – Windsurf ** River Orwell at Levinngton –
cloudy

mile, 25.80 km., 14.07 knot alpha.
Starboard Freeride 150 and a Evolution Freeride foil with a Tushingham Bolt
6.5.
Not very inspiring but I forced myself as a little milder today, sadly
cloudy, at least it was not raining, so I headed over to Levington Marina
arriving at midday and had to park even further away from the launch spot
due to some boat frames, it is a nightmare carrying your kit to the water,
knackering after sailing to pack up and the dredging will probably last all
winter! Walked over to check the wind and though there might be enough for
6.5 so rigged that! The tide was still fairly low but coming in so I
launched by the nmarina entrance and it only took me one tack to reach deep
water. It was OK in patches, nice while flying but once again up and down,
am due a decent session on the Orwell. With my hand playing up I am finding
it hard to find the enthusiasm for winter sailing!
